Cool Story: We drove to Broken Arrow, OK to pick her up and trailer home. Ran like crap and was in gray primer. Got her home and spent 2 years slowly restoring. She needed much more bodywork than expected. Almost no rust, but it had clearly been in one hell of a hailstorm. I always say she looked like a golf ball when I stripped off the primer. Thanks to online forums and parts vendors Midwest Bayless and Auto Ricambi she is now a pure blast to drive. In May 2022 a small tornado hit the storage unit where she was parked. For days we wondered if she survived waiting for the rubble to be moved. Once we could get access to our unit, we were surprised to see everything in the unit was soaked from the rain, except the car. There was a rectangle of dry all the way around her. I drove her home, not a single scratch. Many other cars in the same building suffered damage, but not this little Italian. I’ve included a couple pictures of the storage unit.
