Cool Story: Lagunas were designed to compete in NASCAR as a true “Aero Car”. After two years of dominating the field, they were officially banned from NASCAR. Prior to being banned, they were required to be fitted with restrictor plates in an attempt to slow them down, but it did not work. This specific car was owned by a dirt track racer in Eastern Iowa and upon pulling the motor and transmission layers of dirt track clay were discovered. It can be inferred this car spent some time on dirt tracks. It is an incredible driver and has been on several 10+ hour trips.
