Cool Story: 30 miles NW of Tryon, NE, I was delivering feed to a rancher and was talking Jeeps with him when he asked me to buy it on the spot. He hadn't used it in 7 years and did not want his grandchildren to have it because of the 304 V8 power. I went back in the spring (cause it didn't have a top for the winter) and drove it 150 miles home with NO brakes. It had no rust cause the dry Sandhills of NE contain no mud or salt. It was torn down to bare metal frame and body removing every bolt and completley rebuilt it over the next 11 years, using only OEM parts as much as we could possibly find. From the new drum brakes, points, and condenser, lights, dash, and seats. I wanted a show quality Jeep that will not be in the rain, mud, or off road in my lifetime. 2024 year marks its 50th birthday and it is befitting of a brand new life, just off the "rebuild" showroom floor.
