Cool Story: Like all the cars I have purchased, we attempt to drive them home, but they usually break down. Purchased in 2005 from Bucyrus, Ohio from Ebay. It was 100% stock. With more time on my hand and little money, I spent the next two years swapping the engine for something more dependable, redoing the electrical, finishing the interior and rebuilding most of the OEM drive line components such as steering, suspension, and brakes. Youtube wasn't very big at the time and so I self-taught the work on the vehicle by purchasing old shop manuals from Ebay and going at it. Like all things, mistakes are made and we start over. My plan was to do a basic & temporary restoration and then finish it the way I wanted it in a few years, when I had enough money... well almost two decades later its still the same as when I restored it and running on the road.
This might be one of the only 1936 Oldsmobile 2 door sedans you will see! I've been looking for another one and have seen convertibles, coupes, and 4-door sedans over the last 20 years... but have yet to see another 2 door sedan.
Like all my cars, we drive it and its helped create many memories. It was our wedding vehicle.
